DHS’ NCCIC to begin adoption of new threat-sharing protocol as part of STIX 2.1 rollout next year

The Department of Homeland Security’s National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center plans to begin the adoption of the Information Exchange Protocol next year, which will address vulnerabilities of the current Traffic Light Protocol for the sharing of sensitive information, a DHS official said Wednesday.
