DHS’ Manfra says agencies are complying with directive on Kaspersky products

Senior Department of Homeland Security official Jeanette Manfra told a House Science panel today that all but a handful of small agencies have searched their systems for Kaspersky Labs cybersecurity products and reported findings to DHS under a recent Binding Operational Directive.

According to Manfra, the assistant secretary for cybersecurity and communications, 94 percent of agencies have responded to DHS that they have examined their computer systems, and 15 percent of agencies “have identified Kaspersky products.”
