Development of 'interoperability framework' touted as key to moving security demands away from end-user

Leaving too many security decisions in the hands of end-users could ultimately damage the cybersecurity industry, according to NIST and security industry leaders, who say creating an “interoperability framework” would encourage industry players to share data and best practices in ways that drive up security across sectors.
