Cyberspace Solarium leaders back Katko bill approach to securing most-critical infrastructure

Sen. Angus King (I-ME) and fellow Cyberspace Solarium Commission leader Mark Montgomery are praising new legislation that would prioritize extending cybersecurity services to the operators of “systemically important critical infrastructure,” even though the proposal by House Homeland Security ranking member John Katko (R-NY) and Rep. Abagail Spanberger (D-VA) lacks mandatory security requirements on covered companies.
