Cybersecurity agenda takes shape post-shutdown with key DHS officials slated to testify

House and Senate committees with cybersecurity portfolios are aggressively moving forward on various proposals and senior DHS officials will be testifying on Capitol Hill in the next few weeks, as an agenda for cyber legislation takes shape for the 116th Congress.

Recent and upcoming committee events come as congressional appropriators are busily working behind closed doors on a potential border security deal, in an effort to avoid another government shutdown possibly next week.
