Cyber insurance leader urges federal policymakers to focus on info-sharing, avoid regulatory mandates

The insurance industry could benefit from -- and contribute to -- improvements in the federal government’s cyber information sharing efforts, which would be a better use of government resources than creating regulations on the specifics of cyber insurance policies or trying to promote use of such products, according to a cybersecurity leader at global insurance broker Marsh.
