Cyber impacts of shutdown begin to raise concerns on Capitol Hill

A key lawmaker today sought information on how the partial government shutdown is affecting DHS cyber operations, while members of the cybersecurity community continued to analyze implications and potential damage from the 18-day funding lapse that's closed parts of the Department of Homeland Security, most of the Commerce Department and other agencies.
