Cyber amendments in queue as House begins debate on defense bill
The House begins voting today on amendments to its version of the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act, with about a dozen cyber-related proposals -- on issues ranging from deterrence to software -- teed up for possible consideration.
The House is aiming to complete work on the bill this week while the Senate passed its version of the NDAA prior to the July Fourth recess. The White House has issued a veto threat against the House bill over noncyber issues.
