Cyber amendment to Senate NDAA sets industry incident reporting rules, updates agencies’ security and notification requirements

A Senate proposal to be offered as an amendment to the fiscal 2022 National Defense Authorization Act helps push a cyber incident reporting mandate for critical infrastructure operators and FISMA reform to improve federal network security closer to enactment as Congress prepares for about a month of legislative work before the year ends.
