Cyber agency takes a stab at countering COVID-19 disinformation; Kolasky discusses priorities

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency today offered tools on COVID-19 disinformation campaigns – which have spread falsehoods on 5G, among other things – as CISA takes a step on countering a threat that spans cyber and other domains, and that some analysts say could be more dangerous than malware.

CISA posted an “insights” on disinformation around the pandemic, highlighting official government sources of information and the types of issues being exploited by malicious actors.
