Congressional Research Service report finds attributes, hurdles in establishing cyber statistics bureau

A recent report from the Congressional Research Service identifies several areas for consideration when crafting legislation to authorize a new cyber statistics bureau, a key recommendation from the Cyberspace Solarium Commission that has faced some resistance from lawmakers.

The CRS report reviews the Solarium Commission’s proposal and provides areas where more work is needed to make it most effective. The report published on Jan. 19.
