Congressional handoff at hearing highlights debate on expanded DOD role for cybersecurity

A joint hearing by House Armed Services and Homeland Security subcommittees last week served as a passing of the baton on federal cybersecurity policy as Democrats prepare to take control of the chamber next year, while highlighting bipartisan interest in emerging details of the Trump administration's new get-tough stance in countering foreign cyber adversaries.
