Commerce seeks comment on crafting incentive program for domestic semiconductor manufacturing

The Commerce Department, with an assist from NIST, is getting to work on designing programs to implement the CHIPS Act, a law intended to incentivize domestic semiconductor production as a component of national and economic security.
