Commerce official: U.S.-EU Privacy Shield successor a key Biden administration priority

The Biden administration is hoping to deliver a successor to the Privacy Shield framework “as quickly as possible” and views the agreement as “a matter of priority,” according to Alex Greenstein, the director of Privacy Shield negotiations at the Commerce Department.
