Commerce and DHS release ‘roadmap’ for implementing national anti-botnet strategy

The departments of Commerce and Homeland Security today released an eagerly awaited “roadmap” to implementing their recommendations to the president on fighting botnets, addressing issues such as securing the Internet of Things and setting the stage for a major stakeholder process that will involve extensive government-industry engagement.

The 27-page roadmap foresees a major role for industry and will be followed by an update to the president in one year.
