GAITHERSBURG, MD – The communications sector provided a thorough and full-throated rebuttal to the National Institute of Standards and Technology's proposal for the use of “metrics” in its draft update to the framework of cybersecurity standards, arguing the plan would deflect from ongoing efforts to promote broader use of the framework throughout the industry.
