Coalition of tech-telecom groups issues anti-botnet report, pledges annual industry-led updates

An alliance of major technology and telecommunications groups has unveiled an industry guide on fighting botnets that describes “baseline practices” and “advanced capabilities” tailored for various stakeholders -- and is pledging annual updates as part of an initiative aimed at meeting the Trump administration’s call for industry leadership on the issue.
