Clinton cyber agenda includes emphasis on federal acquisition policy

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton would strengthen cybersecurity by prioritizing enforcement of standards for federal networks and contractors, and increasing discovery of cyber vulnerabilities, according to Clinton's new technology and innovation agenda.

“Cybersecurity is essential to our economic and national security, and it will only become increasingly important as more commercial, consumer, and government devices are networked,” according to the Clinton agenda document released on June 28.
