City transportation officials, industry seek certainty around privacy rules, tout expanded info-sharing

AUSTIN. City officials and industry representatives here called for a federal “regulation” or “guidance” on privacy to help mitigate cyber threats against the transportation sector, while emphasizing the importance of sharing cyber threat information during a panel at the South by Southwest festival this week.
