CISA's Manfra cites three factors in evaluating threats from foreign companies

CISA Assistant Director Jeanette Manfra says the DHS cyber agency applies a three-part test for considering risks from foreign suppliers of information and communications technology, an approach undergirding an upcoming Commerce Department rule on banning risky ICT products.

“You can't have a blanket approach” that says any product from an identified country is bad, Manfra said today at the Washington Post's cyber summit.
