CISA provides high-level zero trust guidance for state, local governments

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is providing guidance to state, local, tribal and territorial governments that are managing increasingly interconnected critical infrastructure systems on how to implement zero trust principles for network security, in a new publication.

“This publication serves as user-friendly guidance for connected communities to better understand the risks associated with interconnected systems and how zero trust principles can be an effective mitigation approach to better protect their networks,” CISA says in an Aug. 29 announcement....
