CISA issues tools on ‘trusted internet connections’ and election security, plus an update on heralded botnet effort

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency hit a policy trifecta in recent days, issuing guidances on “trusted internet connections” and on election security, and pushing out an update on botnets under an initiative that has been framed, at various times, as the most consequential cyber effort on the federal government’s agenda.
