CISA issues advisory detailing BlackMatter ransomware intrusion on food, agriculture sector entities

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has released an advisory explaining how organizations should secure their systems against a BlackMatter ransomware intrusion that has affected two food and agriculture sector organizations in the United States.

The advisory, jointly issued with the FBI and National Security Agency on Monday, “provides information on cyber actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) obtained from a sample of BlackMatter ransomware analyzed in a sandbox environment as well from trusted third-party reporting.”
