CISA, DOJ officials emphasize importance of info-sharing to inform whole-of-nation ransomware response

CISA and the Justice Department are urging private sector entities to report ransomware incidents to federal authorities, emphasizing their intent is to share information back to industry on known vulnerabilities and not to penalize companies that decide to make payments.
