CISA considers developing metrics to track zero trust progress across federal government

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security is looking into using its continuous diagnostics and mitigation program to develop measures and metrics for zero trust across federal agencies.

The agency is in "very early stages" of figuring out how to track progress of zero trust implementation, CISA official John Simms said during a Thursday webinar, adding he is optimistic about opportunities for "natural alignment" with the CDM program.
