CISA chairs new interagency working group on industrial control system risks

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is chairing a new interagency working group on securing industrial control systems, which includes the departments of Defense and Energy, with the goal of developing a “whole of government” strategy.

“We've identified an opportunity to unify efforts,” Jeanette Manfra, CISA assistant director, said Thursday. She said the effort is intended to “not duplicate efforts” and to “bring to bear the resources of the government” to this vexing issue.
