CISA advisory committee considers ways to foster resilience against cyber attacks, address open source security challenges

Members of the CISA Cybersecurity Advisory Committee gave progress reports on efforts to develop recommendations for building cyber resilience and secure open source software at a Wednesday meeting.

Lori Beer, chair of the Building Resilience for Critical Infrastructure subcommittee, outlined two areas of focus – enhancing defense against known tactics of nation-state threat actors and how to increase the resilience of critical infrastructure in the event of a successful attack.
