CISA’s Wales sees four lessons from election efforts, suggests a ‘stock-taking’ on relationships across critical infrastructure

The multiple values from developing tight partnerships and an in-depth understanding of how sectors actually function are among the key take-aways from CISA’s successful election-security efforts, according to Acting Director Brandon Wales, who says the experience should trigger an assessment of where the cyber agency stands in its relationships across all of the critical-infrastructure sectors.

Wales spoke Thursday with Aspen Digital’s Garrett Graff as part of the Aspen Institute’s virtual cyber summit.
