CISA’s continuous monitoring program looks to shared services for smaller partner agencies

Small agencies participating in CISA’s continuous diagnostics and mitigation program are working to combine resources to monitor their systems, according to program manager Kevin Cox.

“Often times, the smaller agencies don’t have the resources or folks working multiple jobs and they need assistance in getting better visibility,” Cox said Tuesday during a webinar hosted by Nextgov. The shared services platform in development will help those agencies get “visibility” at scale that is comparable to large agencies, he said.
