Circuit court overturns ruling, allows data-breach case against CareFirst to proceed

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has ruled that CareFirst customers can proceed with a lawsuit against the major healthcare provider over a massive data-breach incident, rejecting a district court's dismissal of the case and finding that future injury was sufficient to allow the case to progress.
