Building in security, bolstering global standards among priorities in Trump tech strategy

The Trump administration has released a new technology strategy that aims to bolster the “national security innovation base” through steps such as ensuring security throughout development of tech products and energizing work with allies on global standards and principles.

The National Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technologies was released today by the White House and addresses efforts to ensure U.S. predominance in areas like semiconductors and artificial intelligence.
