Blumenthal, Markey call for more work on AV START Act after Uber autonomous vehicle crash

Sens. Edward Markey (D-MA) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) -- two of the three Democratic senators who are blocking floor action on the AV START Act on self-driving car security issues -- on Monday warned against quickly moving autonomous vehicle legislation after an autonomous Uber vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian in Arizona.
