Biden’s moves to ‘impose costs’ on Russia include SolarWinds attribution, sanctions, steps with allies

The Biden administration has announced sanctions targeting the Russian economy and various entities, including technology companies, while formally laying blame for the SolarWinds hack on Moscow, unfurling collaborative efforts with allies on cybersecurity, and issuing a new cyber advisory from CISA, the NSA and FBI on software vulnerabilities related to Russian-directed compromises.
