AT&T official calls for 'NIST-like framework' for IoT at meeting on botnet threats

An AT&T executive is calling on the federal government to convene a process for developing security guidelines for Internet of Things-devices, similar to the industry-led collaboration hosted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology that led to the voluntary framework of cybersecurity standards.
