Amid critiques, key sector officials express support for DHS info-sharing

Some leading industry officials are pushing back against criticism of federal cyber information-sharing efforts, saying the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies are aggressively and effectively circulating important threat indicators to their private-sector partners.

Jim Linn of the American Gas Association asserted that DHS has been “very aggressive in providing threat information,” while the Department of Energy “is bending over backwards to help industry."
