On 5G, Pentagon advisers recommend U.S. military share spectrum to compete with China

The Defense Innovation Board is recommending the Defense Department share its electromagnetic spectrum with commercial operators so the United States can compete with China in the deployment of 5G technologies, a recommendation that also acknowledges the cybersecurity implications of an inevitable "post-Western" wireless ecosystem.
