Uber agrees to expanded settlement with FTC after failing to disclose 2016 data breach

Ride-sharing company Uber has agreed to expand the proposed settlement it reached with the Federal Trade Commission last year on privacy and data security issues after the FTC discovered that Uber failed to disclose a further data breach, the FTC announced Thursday.
