Symantec report says cloud usage of 'shadow data' is vulnerable to cyber attacks

A Symantec report reveals that organizations shared 25 percent of all files on cloud-sharing applications during the second half of 2016, with an increasing use of unsanctioned cloud applications known as “Shadow IT” to store data, creating new cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
