Survey finds compliance is lagging with EU's GDPR six months after effective date

Less than a third of organizations are in full compliance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation, six months after the rule went into effect, according to a new survey by the U.S.-based IT Governance which provides data-security guidance for corporate managers.

“When asked how far along they were in achieving GDPR compliance, only 29% said they had implemented all necessary changes,” according to IT Governance USA in announcing its findings today.
