Public Knowledge recommends changes to data-breach bill, citing Cambridge Analytica scandal

The digital rights group Public Knowledge is citing recent data misuse revelations at Facebook to oppose draft legislation on breach notification, which is awaiting House Financial Services Committee action, although similar efforts have been stymied over several years amid industry splits and committee jurisdictional fights.
