Pompeo withholds judgment on State Dept. cyber structure, but cites 'holes'

CIA Director Mike Pompeo, President Trump's nominee for secretary of state, said during his confirmation hearing last week that he has yet to draw conclusions on cybersecurity organizational issues at the State Department, but that he “has seen the holes” in the department's current cyber set-up.

“Senator, I haven't done -- I've had the org chart shown to me. I've seen the holes. Beyond that I haven't given a great deal of consideration to people filling particular positions,” Pompeo said...
