Online Trust Alliance to host congressional cyber briefing

The Online Trust Alliance, in collaboration with the Internet Society and the Congressional Cybersecurity Caucus, will hold a briefing later this month to discuss cyber best practices for protecting consumer data.

OTA – which establishes industry-led standards for cybersecurity and consumer privacy – will host a congressional lunch briefing on its 2017 Online Trust Audit on June 27 on Capitol Hill to discuss its cybersecurity audit of 1,000 consumer-facing websites in the public and private sectors.
