NSTAC report: 'cyber moonshot' necessary for government reset of digital landscape

In a report to President Trump, the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee calls for the creation of a cybersecurity “moonshot” initiative to “reset” the security of the digital landscape within the next decade, among other guidance.

The report to the president on emerging technologies, released Thursday, addresses cybersecurity as a daunting governmental problem, pointing to deficiencies in deployment of security techniques and capabilities.
