NIST sets two-day workshop to discuss draft report on botnet threats

The National Institute of Standards and Technology will host a workshop later this month to review a draft report developed by the departments of Commerce and Homeland Security on protecting the internet against botnet threats, NIST announced Monday.

The workshop, at NIST's National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence's Rockville, MD headquarters, will be the second NIST has held to review the report, which closed to public comment on Monday, and will take place Feb. 28-March 1.
