NIST to hold cyber framework ‘next up’ webcasts once ‘per quarter’

The National Institute of Standards and Technology plans to hold one webcast “per quarter” on the framework of cybersecurity standards under its “next up” series on applications and evolutions of the landmark cyber tool, NIST official Matthew Barrett told Inside Cybersecurity on Tuesday.

“NIST anticipates about one webcast per quarter,” Barrett, the program manager of the cybersecurity framework, said. “That would put our next webcast in October 2018. Precise schedule and topic are to be determined.”
