Ninth Circuit rules for FTC in rehearing of AT&T Mobility case

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has agreed to a full-court review of a ruling that rejected the Federal Trade Commission's data-enforcement action against AT&T Mobility, handing the commission a potential victor in its efforts to establish itself as the pre-eminent federal regulator for consumer data privacy and security.
