NHTSA requests comments on potential 'pilot program' for testing, safety of autonomous vehicles

The Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration requested comments today on factors it should examine as it considers creating a “national pilot program” for the safety, testing, and deployment of autonomous vehicles.
