Munich Security Conference highlights cyber, Russian threat

Emerging from the Munich Security Conference, German defense minister Ursula von der Leyen and other NATO leaders said they anticipated an increased focus on cybersecurity while highlighting ongoing cyber threats from Russia.

According to reports from Munich over the weekend, von der Leyen said the coming decade will be focused on making improvements to cybersecurity to fend off malicious actors that include entities from nation-states to terrorist groups.
