Law firm launches app to track state, foreign data breach requirements

Global law firm Eversheds Sutherland has launched a mobile app providing users with access to data breach statutes and requirements that have been enacted across the United States and in Europe and Asia.

The BreachLawWATCH app allows for users to have state and international breach notification rules “at their fingertips,” and includes categories on notification requirements, personal information security breaches, and time frames for notification.
