House panel says federal agencies' scores have dropped on IT improvement

The latest version of a House panel's scorecard on federal information technology improvement efforts finds that nearly half of agencies surveyed received lower grades than they did when the previous report was issued six months ago.

The biannual scorecard on implementation of the 2014 Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act was released Monday by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and was compiled with the Government Accountability Office.
